Very interesting Zhelko.

USA is really hurting compared with EU as far as trade balance with China is concerned! China holding huge dollar reserves and US Treasury Bond stocks too. Ouch!

Canada not doing so bad...

Jings,

Just yesterday they were running again on some channel “Meet the Parents” with De Niro where he has a cat called Jings. (No pun intended!)

Anyways in practical terms the USA is cooked! (Well done) Not long from now probably in a year or two their credit ratings will go to the drain and some international regulations most likely will kick in on printing money. (Literary the Americans ran out of wood printing money)

Presently the USA has an economy, which is 25% from the total world economy. In 5 years or so the US presence in the world economy will be at only around 15%. All that lost percentage will be shifting mostly to Eurasia, which is better positioned for growth.

India’s GDP is growing presently at 9%, China’s at 10.3%, Russia’s at 4.4% etc. (pretty much all of Asia is on fire). India is building about 20km of highway per day and is planning to finish a whopping 300 shopping malls by the end of this year. China is building every month a city with the size of Houston and is planning to build 1000 cities with 1 million inhabitants each by 2025! In 10 to 20 years the opportunities will spill on a large scale even to Africa.

From an investor or a business point of view all focus and eyes should be on the BRIC countries and the emerging markets, which happen to be a large part of the Eurasian continent. (Then again Bulgaria is “Just an autumn leaf in the wind”)
